DESCRIPTION:Jonathan Stout is a guitarist and bandleader\, well-known to swing dancers everywhere for the wonderful dance orchestras he leads (his Campus Five\, the Jonathan Stout Orchestra\, etc.) but any fan of swing guitar currently stalking the internet knows him for his mastery of the electric swing guitar style of Charlie Christian\, and the acoustic chord-melody style of Allan Reuss.\nWith his newest band – the Jonathan Stout Trio – Jonathan puts the guitar out front and center\, along with high flying clarinet from Myles Prower Davis\, and solid\, jumpin’ bass from Seth Ford-Young. Both the electric Charlie Christian-style and acoustic Allan Reuss-style sides of Jonathan’s playing are featured\, along with his signature storytelling-style.
