Society for the Preservation of Dixieland Jazz is excited to announce our feature band for Sunday, 25 August 2024 is Janet Klein and her Parlor Boys! We meet at Arcadia Elks Lodge, 27 W Huntington, in Arcadia between 1:00 and 5:00. Local musicians play sets between 1:00 and 3:00, feature band takes the stage at 3:00 and local musicians finish out the day until 5:00. Door admission is $10 for members/$15 for nonmembers. Hope to see you there! We have a wooden dance floor, a raffle, and snacks and drinks are available for purchase. See you there!

If you'd like to participate with SPDJ socks for the homeless activity, please bring a new pair of socks to share at our SPDJ session today! Starts at 1:00!If you would like to participate in our annual SPDJ Sock Drive for the Homeless, please bring a pair of new socks to donate to our October and December meetings. The number one need of homeless people is socks. The homeless walk many miles each day and often have no way of cleaning their socks, causing many foot ailments among the homeless population.
