Jonathan Stout and his Campus 5
September 22 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
$10 – $15
Society for the Preservation of Dixieland Jazz is excited to announce that our ‘2nd Line on High’ 2024 Scholarship recipients will be providing a mini-concert to showcase what they learned at jazz camp this year, and will be followed by Jonathan Stout and his Campus 5! Our September ‘2nd Line on High’ fundraising event will help to raise scholarship and travel funds to send young musicians (ages 12-20) to the Teagarden Summer Jazz Camp in Sacramento in 2025.
We meet at Arcadia Elks Lodge, 27 W Huntington, in Arcadia between 1:00 and 5:00. Local musicians play sets between 1:00 and 3:00, feature band takes the stage at 3:00 and local musicians finish out the day until 5:00. Door admission is $10 for members/$15 for nonmembers. Hope to see you there! We have a wooden dance floor, a raffle, and snacks and drinks are available for purchase. See you there!
